An Exhibition of selected paintings and sculpture by Carol Star Safer (1925-1990) The early days of Space exploration inspired the pioneers of a new art form, which has since come to be known as Space Art. Carol Star Safer was one of these pioneers. Beginning in the mid-1950s, her career spanned three decades during which time she created more than 90 paintings of the Earth and Outer Space.
